Have You Tried the French Toast Bagel at Sweet Brew Cafe?
There is a different side of PXV Inside Out that many people often overlook. Not the packed Bridge Street dinner rush. Not the nightlife. Not the music and crowds. The morning.

Sweet Brew is one of the first spots downtown to open its doors, and stopping there first thing feels like a completely different version of Bridge Street. The same street that was packed the night before is suddenly quiet and calm, with the sun coming up, a cool summer breeze moving through, a few early risers passing by, and the occasional bike rider.
Sweet Brew has coffee, breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and plenty of bagel options, but one of the best parts of the menu is the variety.
Different bagels. Different cream cheeses. Different creative add ins and toppings. Sweet combinations, savory combinations, and the kind of options where you can try something new almost every time you stop in.
This time, we went a the French toast bagel with sweet cream cheese.

It is definitely more of a treat than a basic breakfast order, but that is what makes it fun and exciting on a Summer morning. The bagel has that warm, cinnamon flavor you expect from French toast, and this cream cheese dials the sweetness up a notch.
Paired with a plain latte, it is the perfect indulgent breakfast. The coffee balances out the sweetness of the bagel, and with the backdrop of a quiet downtown, you can fully enjoy the experience.

You can stop in for a quick coffee. You can grab a bagel or breakfast sandwich to go. Or you can sit outside, take your time, and work your way through the different combinations of bagels, cream cheeses, and drinks until you find your go-to order.
Sweet Brew Cafe is already an easy breakfast stop in downtown Phoenixville, but during PXV Inside Out, it becomes an even better way to start the day and as a bonus parking is abundant at 7am.

If you haven’t tried the French toast bagel with sweet cream cheese yet, this is a very good place to start.
