There is a new business opening in Phoenixville this weekend.
iSmash Phoenixville will open Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19 at 222 Schuylkill Road.
The concept is fairly straightforward. You book a session, put on safety gear, and go into a controlled space where you can break items like glass and electronics using tools that are provided. It is set up as a timed experience and can be done individually or in small groups.

What the experience looks like
The main attraction is the rage room. Guests are given a set amount of time in a private room with breakable items and tools like bats or crowbars. From there, it is pretty much what it sounds like. It is not really skill based. It is more about the experience itself, whether that is trying something new, going with friends, or just doing something a little different than the usual options around town.

In addition to the rage rooms, this location also includes splatter paint rooms. These are set up with blacklights and neon paint where you can throw paint onto canvases and surfaces. It is a more low key option compared to the smash rooms and something that works well for families, kids, or anyone who is not looking to break things but still wants to do something hands on. You get to keep whatever you create at the end.
iSmash is also set up for group use. The space is designed to handle things like birthday parties, small group outings, and even corporate events.
It fits into the broader trend of experience based activities where the focus is more on doing something together rather than just going out to eat or grabbing drinks. For groups looking for something structured but still casual, this is the kind of place that can fill that gap.
