Summer Nights at the Amphitheater
Summer Nights at the Amphitheater
A favorite event for locals, the Kimberton Summer Concert Series will return to Kimberton Park’s Miller Amphitheater on Thursday, June 18th. This family-friendly event brings live music, food trucks, and a relaxed summer atmosphere to one of the area’s best outdoor gathering spots. It’s the perfect way to enjoy a laid back summer night close to home.
Organized by the East Pikeland Park & Recreation Board, the series will include three free concerts planned for June, July, and August.
Guests are encouraged to bring a canned food donation for PACS and receive an East Pikeland sticker.
First Up: Be Kind Rewind

First Up: Be Kind Rewind
The series kicks off with Be Kind Rewind, a five piece 90s cover band that keeps things nostalgic in the best way. The group includes Mike DePalma on vocals and guitar, Megan Lee on vocals, Brandon Johnston on bass and vocals, Frank Loughry on lead guitar, and Dan Taney on drums.
The band plays hits from across the decade, covering everything from alternative rock and grunge to pop, hip hop, and even a little country. This night will be all about those feel good throw-backs.
“We were excited to play this event last year but unfortunately got rained out,” said Mike DePalma. “Contrary to Garbage, we’re only happy when it doesn’t rain, so keep your fingers crossed for clear weather and head over to enjoy some favorite tunes from the 90s.”
